Thomas P. Farnoly, Jr is a Principal at Springer Capital, LLC and has over 18 years of experience in real estate and financial services. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute and has a Pennsylvania real estate license. Mr. Farnoly earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Georgetown University where he was also a member of the varsity heavyweight crew team. He currently resides in the Chestnut Hill section of Philadelphia with his wife, Meg, and three children.
Thomas S. Greenwood III is a Principal at Springer Capital, LLC and has over 18 years of experience in commercial real estate. Since co-founding Springer in 2014, Mr. Greenwood has led the investment of over $300 million of equity, acquiring and renovating over 8,500 apartment units throughout the Southeast. Prior to founding Springer, he was a Director at Philadelphia Private Capital/US Realty Capital, a commercial merchant banking and private equity firm, where he was responsible for new business development and structuring deals across the entire capital stack including permanent, construction, mezzanine, bridge, and joint venture equity funding. In addition, he is a lifetime member of the Wyndmoor Hose Company, where he volunteered as a firefighter and is also a trustee at Springside Chestnut Hill Academy, where he serves on the Buildings and Grounds and Assets committees. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute and has a Pennsylvania real estate license. Mr. Greenwood holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Roanoke College. He currently resides in the Chestnut Hill section of Philadelphia with his wife, Emery, and four children.
Russell D. Rhoads II is Vice President of Investments at Springer Capital, LLC and is responsible for overseeing the asset management of existing investments, sourcing / underwriting new investment opportunities, executing capital events, and the preparation of investor reporting. Since joining Springer in 2018, Mr. Rhoads has helped facilitate the acquisition / disposition of over 5,500 units valued at more than $750 million. Prior to Springer Capital, he held an internship position at Federal Realty Investment Trust in Rockville, MD. He is a graduate from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Economics (concentrations in Finance and Real Estate). While at UPenn, he played baseball and was involved with the Wharton Undergraduate Real Estate and Finance clubs. Mr. Rhoads is also a member of the Urban Land Institute in Philadelphia, PA. He currently resides in Center City, Philadelphia with his Fiancé, Gabrielle.
Drew Heape is Director of Construction at Springer Capital, LLC. He is responsible for overseeing all capital management projects, budgets, contract negotiations and onsite construction execution for Springer Capital’s portfolio. Prior to joining the firm, he was an Account Manager for Katerra Construction, a large multifamily renovation firm. At Katerra, he was responsible for developing strategic accounts and growing new and existing clients leading to successful long-term relationships through effective client management. He also established a preferred contractor and consulting partnership to help assist in managing insurance losses. Prior to joining Katerra Construction, Mr. Heape was a General Contractor who specialized in residential and commercial construction. He has over 20 years of construction experience and has successfully completed construction projects and renovations in over 35 markets throughout the country. Mr. Heape holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from University of North Texas. Outside of work, he’s a passionate outdoorsman and enjoys coaching youth sports. He currently lives in Frisco, TX with his wife and four kids.
Hunter D. Dorris is Chief Financial Officer at Springer Capital, LLC. He is responsible for oversight of all accounting, finance, and reporting activities. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Dorris was the Assistant Controller for Independence Realty Trust, a publicly traded REIT that owns and manages a large portfolio of multifamily apartment communities across the country. Previously, he was an accounting manager for RAIT Financial Trust, another publicly traded REIT and Independence Realty Trust’s former advisor. In total, he has over 10 years of commercial real estate experience. Mr. Dorris is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University.
John P. Farnoly is a Project Manager at Springer Capital, LLC. He is responsible for the coordination and oversight of all aspects of multifamily construction management. Prior to joining the firm, John was a Regional Manager with Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc., a privately held infrastructure maintenance management, operations, and consulting firm. He was responsible for project operations, within the Central Florida region, with additional oversight on project proposals, financial analysis, and regional safety programs. In addition to his civilian career, John serves as a Major in the United States Army. Currently, John serves as an Operations Officer for the United States Army Corps of Engineers, North Atlantic Division. In this capacity, he supports engineering and contingency operations within three FEMA regions, six District offices, and three combatant commands. John is a graduate of Villanova University, with a B.S. in Civil Engineering, a licensed professional engineer in Tennessee, Florida, and Maryland, a Project Management Professional, and currently an MBA candidate at the University of Florida.
Charles J. Lynch (CJ) is an Analyst at Springer Capital, LLC. He is responsible for assisting with the asset management of existing portfolio properties, underwriting new investment opportunities, conducting market research, and the preparation of investor reporting. CJ is a graduate of Clemson University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Finance with an emphasis in Real Estate. During his time at Clemson, he was involved in the Finance and Real Estate Clubs, held a leadership position in the Finance Student Advisory Board, and served as the President of the Clemson University Real Estate Club. Prior to joining Springer Capital, CJ held an internship at Partners Capital (f/k/a NAI Partners), completed various certifications from REFM, Break Into CRE, CoStar, and The Academy of CRE Finance and Innovation, and was selected as a Trepp Spring 2024 Future Leaders in Commercial Real Estate Awardee. CJ is a member of the Urban Land Institute and is involved in the Young Real Estate Professionals of New York Workshop. He currently resides in Conshohocken, PA.
Wills A. Jordan is a Senior Analyst at Springer Capital, LLC and is responsible for assisting with the asset management of existing portfolio properties, including operations and financial reporting. Wills is also responsible for underwriting new investment opportunities, conducting market analysis, and the preparation of investor reporting. Prior to joining Springer Capital, Wills was a Senior Analyst at Federal Capital Partners (FCP) in Chevy Chase, Maryland, a privately held national real estate investment firm. At FCP, Wills provided analytical support in managing residential assets throughout Florida and the Western United States. He is a graduate from Babson College with a Bachelor of Science (concentrations in Finance and Real Estate). While at Babson, he played lacrosse and was involved in the Babson Undergraduate Real Estate Club. He currently resides in Center City, Philadelphia.
